.475 A&M Magnum
well, this is pretty interesting. You can actually watch the trajectory of your shot
We all know "affordable" will be exactly the opposite of that. The question is will they ever sell the bullets? If not who will be the first to do the same thing at a fraction of the cost?
I just meant some homebrew dyi. Not to commercially sell. That's usually what happens with these type of things. Someone figures out hey i don't have to buy expensive dillon case lube. I can just mix lanolin and alcohol and have a lifetime supply for almost nothing. Once the cat is out of the bag only the laziest of slackers or those that think the label on the bottle somehow makes it superior continue to buy the product. This appears to be some chemical compound that is activated by heat from the shot. I bet I could figure it out with enough research into what compounds do that but lighting up my ammo just isnt that important lol.except they have a patent on it. I would imagine a copy would have to be too close to the original to get away with it.
The demo shows only short indoor ranges with pistol calibers. I wonder how far the visuality will carry, that could limit its military application. Pretty cool all the same.
Robin
I wonder if these could be put in a recess in the back of the bullet so that they couldn't be seen except by people standing near the shooter.
Would solve that pesky "tracers work both ways" problem.
It says it's not visible to the target.
Taken off their website. "RESIDENT ATTENTION: We do not ship ammo to AK, DC, HI, MA, NY, P.R., V.I. Residents of CA, CT, IL, NJ."
Looks like they want to make as many sales as possible.
9mm 147 gr – 20 Rounds
No longer interested.I'm sure they would ship to a FFL in NY
I'm thinking battlefield applications where you don't want it visible to anyone not behind or at least beside the shooter.
No longer interested.
If the company won't legally support us, then I will not support them.
My money will continue to go to vendors who understand our laws and know that it is completely legal to ship ammunition to private law-abiding citizens.
I understand, and appreciate, that. Nonetheless, my money goes to vendors who are not from this state but have taken the time to realize that we are still valuable customers with real money to spend.Again it might just be a CYA thing. Company not from this state figures why spend the money to try and figure out the bull shit safe act law

Oh...I also buy some ammo from my FFL since he stocks cartridges that I use regularly.
Only an XDS 9mm. So...nothing exotic.I take it you don't own anything Springfield?

Not really. I'm more politically savvy now compared to when I purchased the pistol. So you do support nom pro 2a companies
