Cheap and sub MOA are contradictory requirements. Are you specifically needing a .223 load or will 5.56 load work?
The IMI 77gr Mk 262 clone can do sub MOA.
I don't know where you would get it at a brick and mortar store nor if it would be affordable to you at retail prices but it can be had online @.67 a round.
The Hornady Gunner brand 55gr HPs shoot very well for me also and if you find a 247 round can on sale its about .50 a round.
Black Hills ammo is probably the most accurate factory .223 ammo out there but it is priced accordingly.
I haven't tried it myself but you could give the Hornady steel match stuff a go.

sometimes runs a good deal on the .223 Gold Dots. Its marketed as a defensive round but it more accurate than bulk FMJ stuff. It shoots very well out of both my ARs, burns clean too.
Its a good defensive load and I imagine would work gangbusters as a hunting load too, I highly recommend it. FWIW the Gold Dot is a true .223 load.

What gun and what propose? If it's a bolt or competition AR and you are trying to make bullets go through the same hole in the paper....
If it's just a run of the mill AR and you just want to occasionally plink or load up for defense, sub moa ammo isn't really needed. Military ammo is about 2 moa and you can accurately hit a human chest with it at 500 yards.

Rifle will be AR platform used for run and gun comps. with targets out to 200yds at the max. Target sizes are generally larger than 1 moa but I would like to reduce the wobble area for the positional shooting. Reloading the .223 is a no go. I spend too much time reloading for my other precision sticks.
Just about any decent quality 55gr FMJ will work for that, you don't need to waste the money on match ammo. I like the the IMI M193 myself but any M193 type load will do. Fiocchi and Prvi Partisan (PPU) are aslo good quality and you can find it pretty much in any shop.

You said "run and gun comps". Like 3 gun? With Standard IPSC targets? Out to 200 yards quality M193 clones are more than accurate enough for that.
I can throw a rock and hit a standard ipsic at 100yds. Most targets are way smaller.
BTW where do you compete in 3 gun?
PPU, short for Prvi Partisan, does indeed manufacture the ammunition sold under the Wolf Gold brand. PPU ammo is very good quality for the price in general. If it suits your needs then wonderful. I have never found their match offerings to really be worthy of that moniker, I just stick to their standard ammo lines which are fine.
