Think of all the energy that was wasted on this. All the fighting and bickering that went on in the other forum. All the promises and false hopes that came from it. We should all be pissed about it but I think it isn't a surprise at all.

Ugh, talk about opening an old wound. I try to give the benefit of the doubt and think as though something reasonable and legit must have transpired for them to not follow through with the lawsuit. Perhaps they took on more than they could chew and the firm went under. Who knows. It will always be a little knife in the gut though.

I appreciated the thought and effort that the guys put in trying to help, but they were in over their head.

David Lewis was an active member at the other forum, and the state police illegally crossed referenced the prescription database, and pistol permit records and confiscated his guns. He had taken some anti anxiety meds at some point, but was not taking them at the time. It was said that cumhole put together a Hipaa squad to go through medical records to confiscate peoples guns.

Tresmond got davids guns back, but i believe they pressed on with the case anyway, which is good. At least this is how i remember it.

I got a chance to know NYShooter a bit. He is a divorce attorney who was just as passionate about gun rights as many of us. He was bamboozled a bit by the Tresmonds and then was dealing with a mother who had cancer. The gun situation was overtaking his time and his practice was getting hurt as well as his ability to deal with his personal situation. I know what it is like to let this situation control your life and start to cause issues. Everyone handles things in life differently and I hold no ill feelings towards him.
