I would rather eat an entire bowel of chicken noodle soup, with my feet, using only an Allen Key as a utensil, than to ever do what I just did again.
I thought I'd be sending another new S&W back in for repairs.
If you don't know, the new "Easy Takedown" Victory has a single screw under the barrel for 1 screw takedown. What they don't tell you is that they hired the Hulk, apparently armed with Red Loctite or something, to install that screw.
I broke 2 Allen wrenches, had to go to the store to buy special hardened Hex Sockets for it, and it STILL was a struggle. Holy mother of fuck. The manual says "may require significant pressure." Yes. Yes, it certainly did.
At least I got it out though. Now I put it back in with about 39 ft-lb less torque and it goes in and out easily. Still haven't shot it, been dealing with that bastard screw all day.
