Who wants to bet that they get billions of dollars, put up a building, then never build a damn thing?
My wife and I were talking about it last night. Central New York gets used for money laundering and purposes of corruption by those in power. They can do it because of the poverty and lack of jobs- creating a false hope that good paying jobs are just around the corner. Companies get billions in tax credits and grants to build, politicians get millions in kick backs. Nothing actually gets done and the community suffers. Round and round it goes.

Cree/Wolfspeed from N, Carolina, has extorted over a billion from NYS for a chip plant in Marcy NY, that may eventually hire 600 people. It will not use the clean room/--NANO ROOM, already built at Suny Poly, during the buffalo billions era.................

Wolfpseed will simply do chip mfg at its other facilities, and let NYS try to market the UNUSED Marcy site.

Syracuse'S chip plant MUST compete with Wolfspeed and the EXISTING NANO TECH IN Albany tech valley.........................I PREDICT THAT THIS IS ALL SMOKE AND MIRRORS AND WILL NOT BE BUILT AT ALL.
