So I picked up a stainless encore in pistol configuration with a 15 inch 223 barrel on Friday. It is pretty and pretty heavy. This is the first break action pistol I have ever owned so I was pretty stoked to get one. Took it to the range today and sighted it in at 25 yards with my 52 grain Sierra 223 load at just about 1inch as 25 yards. It is not too bad to shoot although the guy that was sitting behind me said there was a huge fireball that came out of the end of it. I did not notice the fireball. The sights were hard enough to see without concentrating on what was coming out of the barrel. I was not able to consistantly put it on paper at 100 yards, I suspect having iron sights and failing close in sight has something to do with that.
I did find it pleasent to shoot and cannot wait to get the 5.7x28 barrels made for it.
