6.5 Creedmoor
Went target shooting with my Grandson again this morning, 9am until 1pm. We shot several 22 caliber rimfire rifles, 22 caliber rimfire handguns, a 17HMR rifle and an old Iver Johnson 12 gauge single shot with Aguila mini-7 1/2 shot shotgun shells. He can shoot better then some adult friends that I go shooting with, It doesn't matter open sights or scoped rifles.
Check out .52 and 1.03 in the video at the water filled soda cans he hit, he hit them all during this video.

He can hit decent with his little Savage Rascle 22 caliber rifle I bought him for X-Mas last year.
Left to right Marlin 17HMR, Savage Rascle, Sheridan Single-Shot Nockabout 22lr, Ruger Single-Six 22lr/22magnum, Savage model 111 Single-Shot 22lr, (Looks like a revolver), Ruger Mark 2, Western Auto tube-fed 22lr Bolt Action - My most accurate 22lr Rifle, bought it at a Pawn Shop a few years ago for only $50, that what he is shooting in the video), an old Ithaca model 49 -22lr Single-Shot I have about four of them, and then the old 12 gauge Iver Johnson Single-Shot -I bought this shotgun and another old single-sot 12 gauge at a yard sale about 35 years ago for $35, I kept this one and sold the other for $30. My $5 shotgun, I have several old Iver Johnson single-shot shotguns, a 410, a 20 gauge, a 28 gauge and this 12 gauge, I need to buy a 16 gauge to complete the set.
My favorite shooting Partner, I started my kids out this young. He can load pretty much every gun he shoots. His favorite handgun is an old Sheridan Nockabout single-shot 22 caliber I bought at a pawn shop a couple of years ago. This is the only one I have ever seen, it's the only real gun Sheridan made and they only made them for two years back in the 50s. Out here in Washington State they called them the tackle-Box gun. They used them to shoot the bigger fish when they got them to the boat or the shore. I'll take a decent picture of it and post it here.
Enjoy the video and take your little ones out as often as you can now the 22lr ammo is back in circulation Post OBOZO.
FUAC and that Butt Ugly Piece of Shit Brother of yours!
