I think the article is alluding to a similar situation happening here.

i.e. Trump is re-elected, but they take "not my president" a lot more seriously this time.

The article is most likely a Democrat plant to make people who use it look stupid. Anyone with any knowledge of Russian history knows there were no elections in Russia in 1917. Livingston took the bate, hook, line and sinker.
Comparing 1917 Russia to 2020 America is like comparing Papua New Guinea to Vatican, there are no similarities to speak of.

There were elections after Bolshevik Revolution, not after Tsar abdication. I stand corrected. Still it was October Revolution, not manipulation of the elections that brought Bolsheviks into power.

i thought that point was mentioned. "Failing to win the majority" kind of covers the idea that they didn't manipulate the election.
