How do I know about CGIAR?
I worked at one of their cattle research centers in Kenya for 10 years. It was restructured shortly after I left, and renamed, into what is known as ILRI - the International Livestock Research Institute - International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) .
The change to ILRI was disastrous - 20 years of hard core research into 2 cattle diseases - trypanosomiasis and theileriosis - was essentially memory holed. Billions of dollars in operating funds from it's foundation in 1974 until demise are gone.
I am hard put to even dig my name out the website anymore.
Why would such a disastrous course be taken - there is some linkage and/or cooperation with the WEF - You searched for WEF - CGIAR
