Im never going to Canada again as long as I live. The last time I went there was 10 years ago. I got into an argument with the Canadian Border Guard. He kept asking me "what guns do you have with you today" I said "none", then he wanted to know what guns I owned, I told him it;s none of his business what I own, then he asked again "what guns do you have with you today" I said "seriously? then he asked again "where are you headed in Canada today" I said I told you and HVAC convention, he said Oh, ok, "what guns do you have with you today" I finally had enough of his bullshit and said ( I honestly said this to him) Look asshole, the state of NY has seen fit to allow me to possess firearms, that includes knowing all the laws associated with guns, if you think you can trip me up by repeatedly asking if I have a gun then pull me over and search the damn car or turn me around and send me home, otherwise I'd like to be on my way" I fully expected to be searched, but he said "that won't be necessary, enjoy your stay in Canada, move along"
I was so pissed off after that, I went to the convention and then drove home. I was going to get a hotel room but said fuck it, they ain't getting one more cent out of me.
