Once again they lock up a gun owner for simply possessing an item while they release people that comitt assault without bail.

We don't know this guy's background. Maybe he'll fight. Maybe he'll take the plea they offer him after they scare him. At some point they're going to arrest someone that will say "FUCK YOU" take me to trial. After a lengthy fight the charges will be dropped or he'll win on an appeal and then sue the shit out of this state and its leaders for violating his rights.

It is illegal to discharge a firearm, bow or crossbow:

• so that the load or arrow passes over any part of a public highway,
• within 500 feet (for a firearm), 250 feet (for a crossbow) or 150 feet (for a bow) of any school, playground, or an occupied factory or church,
• within 500 feet (for a firearm), 250 feet (for a crossbow) or 150 feet (for a bow) of a dwelling, farm building, or structure in occupation or use unless you own it, lease it, are an immediate member of the family, an employee, or have the owner's consent.
• You may hunt waterfowl with a firearm or bow, over water, within 500 feet of a dwelling or public structure as long as neither are within 500 feet (for a firearm) or 150 feet (for a bow) in the direction you are shooting.

He may have been known to law enforcement, as not being able to legally own a gun, or when the cops went to inspect, as they do regularly around here, when a gun fire complaint is heard... they can legally enter your land and property, to investigate gun fire..no warrant necessary....public safety. Gunfire noise carries for miles.

Oops, a ghost gun or unregistered AW.....go to jail..
