Trigger blocks at Cabela's

Went to Cabela's today to grab some hunting paraphernalia and noticed all the guns have trigger locks on them. Looked at a used gun and the guy said he couldn't take the lock off. WTF?! It was on a gun that you wouldn't even consider buying without feeling the trigger. Not sure if they won't take them off the new ones either but how effing stupid is that?

I hate cabelas gun counter. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with them. I refuse to even look at a gun at their counter.
I wanted a 20 gauge gun on their web site and wanted them to order it for me. Guy told me that was illegal. I corrected him like 5 times and said I want you to order it into the store so I can buy it in person from the store. Still said it was illegal. I threw my hands up and left.
I wanted a left handed semi auto savage .22 for my son. Tried to see if they could order it and they said it’s not made. I showed them on savages website. They said no. I went to gander outdoors and in 5 minutes it was ordered for me. Looked at some hand guns and the guy didn’t even know how to close the slide and put the mags in backwards. Tags are wrong saying guns are single action when they are double action. I pointed this out and they were never fixed. I just walk right on by.

I could imagine their gun sales will plummet if people can't pull the damn triggers. I've never bought a gun from them either. Only reason I asked to handle it was because it's a really unique gun that I've never seen in person, but would really liked to have been able to pull the trigger. Oh well.

I was told to call corporate and complain last time I was there. I guess the story is a guy walked in to Bass Pro, asked to look at a 45, took a bullet out of his pocket and blew his brains out at the counter. Corporate decided to lock all guns since then and I haven't purchased or walked back in that store since.

Yeah, It's the one on Walden. I was last there not even 2 months ago and there were no trigger locks.

My wife’s work autocorrect corrects again to vagina.
