I don’t know about this. If it works great, it won’t work though. It will also just cause more problem and ensure the liberals that want to sit on thier ass will put vote the republicans in November. I can’t help, but think the republicans want the democrats back in power. Why they do I don’t know, but that’s the way it seems. Some thing has to happen , I had a neighbor who moved into our neighborhood some 6 or 7 years ago , she had a son who was only 20 and had 5 kids with 3 different mothers,She claimed she was being paid by our Government to watch his kids, As she used to say she had a "guberment job" So spend the day at grammies and grammies get PAID! She and her kids were claiming to be disabled with anxiety , She also told me that she paid a local attourney a fee to fill out the application for said disability and once it gets approved you pay him a percentage of first years payments . Although she lived with a man and called him her husband, they were not married as she said, that piece of paper would effect her "GUBERMENT JOB" and her benefits. I latter found out from the owner of the house she rented that part of her rent was paid for thru the state, and he claimed that the state was the best tenant he had as the rent was always paid on time.

This may be unpopular, but I'm tired of seeing these baby factories who only squirt out kids to game the system, then neglect them. This leads to child abuse, higher crime, etc.
If the woman had the kids after going on welfare they should be removed and put in foster homes or put up for adoption.
By being on welfare, the woman has declared she is incapable of taking care of those kids. Essentially child neglect.
If the kids were there before going on welfare, the woman should have assistance, but have it monitored by someone else so she can't exploit it or use it for anything other than the welfare of the kids. If she does, the kids are taken away.
The woman must also pass drug tests and seek gainful employment while using welfare.
Any violation of these rules should result in termination of benefits and possible incarceration.
Oh, and if you are in prison you should be working your ass off. Not lounging around getting free everything. It's prison, not daycare!

Agreed, Its a step in the right direction, even if it falls short of real reform. If people are "forced" to work for their government funded gift cards, then maybe some of them would be motivated to get a real job making more money. Its a start.

Congress doesn't have the nuts to stop the gravy train. This is a small step that can be put into place
I'd rather see .gov stop trying to make cronic welfare recipients comfortable. No Obama phones. No more EBT cards, instead monthly allotments of staples, rice, flour, beans, etc. I also think its nuts that we give private housing to welfare recipients.
That's all well and good until they start getting hungry - then there would be a lot of theft and rioting.
