Realistically these kids are not being booted out of the nation, so this is reasonable from his end and he should have been pushing for this from the get go and made a fool out of pelosi for not taking it.

Just have the Army build the wall. End of the story. Use the shutdown to get a different agenda pushed like someone for gun owners. A large part of his base that feels alienated at the moment.
