I ordered your Grand Master connector and spring kit for my Glock 19. My 19 is one of my carry guns. I was wondering if any of you have installed the reduced power striker spring on a carry gun with the included trigger return/reduced plunger spring and connector? Does the included reduced striker spring tend to cause light primer strikes? Or should I leave my factory striker spring and only install the trigger return/reduced plunger springs and connector? What I eventually plan on doing his buying a nice aftermarket slide (Possibly the Norsso Reptile C) milled for an RMR if that affects what’s springs should be installed.

I’m not sure which part you are speaking of in that link. The link send me to a list of numerous parts. But for me it was actually a toss up between an overwatch trigger or the Agency trigger. I chose the Agency trigger. Hopefully it’s nice. I was just curious about installing the TTI connector/spring kit in conjunction with the Agency trigger. I don’t want to mess around with it too much since it is a carry gun.
Ya I kept it to the main store page because the have a few different trigger option. They really are just different shoes with different profiles, but the bars are the same and function the same. I also went with the minus connector instead of messing with springs. Everything I've read on said you have to be very careful with springs, because it can be a guessing game to get it right. That for me made me stray away from doing any sort of mod like that to a serious gun.
That’s fair enough, I agree with your thought process on it too. I’ll try it out. Maybe in the end I’ll leave the striker spring out of the equation, probably try it just to see how it feels and works for fun. If it ends up being a little too light for an EDC gun, I’ll throw the springs into my competition Glock 34.
I emailed Taran Tactical regarding the instillation of the Grand Master Kit. The Taran Tactical representative does NOT recommend installing the reduced power striker spring (which I figured as much). But they said that I’m good to go with installing the included trigger spring, safety plunger spring, and the connector...in case anyone was on here and wondering about installing the same kit.
