Thanks found an old one out of state FFL giving a hard time to transfer it Ugh need to find another
They are indeed. I have 2, both Henrys. I love the change up a lever offers rather than just pulling a trigger. If you do, these Spee-D-loaders..speed loaders are well worth the loot..Spee-D-Loader Spee-D-15 22 Cal Rimfire Tube Mag Rifle Ammo LoaderI've been thinking a 22LR lever gun might be sorta fun.
Awesome ! I am far behind I only have 12 lolKent
I have two 22lr lever guns, a Marlin original Golden and a Browning. Both are fun accurate rifles. They were in the $500 range when I bought them.
Arnie, I'll see what I have. I do have around 35 maybe 40 22 rifles.
Something like this? Ruger 96/22 18.5" barrel View attachment 14049
Well shhhhhhit..no wonder you're "monthly shot winner" even a 4 year old half blind, 3 fingered kid should better be hitting dead center every single shot with that set up. IDK maybe it's just me but I feel leaves nothing to skill when I see that stuff at my club. Is that the norm for these contests, or not allowed? I can understand sighting in a scope but only for that.
LOL no not the rifle I mean the sandbag and the stand in the front holding it perfectly dead center, how could anyone ever miss being 100% dead center every single shot? Seems like to me that would be a tie with every person in the contest if they all add stand and a sandbag holding a rifle like cement on the table Hehhe. I don't know maybe that's the norm but I like to test my skills by using my own arms and breathing and body movement. I do rest the barrel many times on a sandbag but definitely never the stock. Not the rifle I used! It was this Marlin 989 m1 my dad gave me when I was 16, over 40 years ago. With a 2-7x32 Centerpoint scope off hand. View attachment 14069

A rig like that is good for finding out what the rifle is capable of.I did shoot in a benchrest league a few years ago! but that rig is also used for sighting in rifles and cleaning. But these matches have been off-hand at this distance and you are right had I used this rig I could do something like this with 10rds! View attachment 14070

When your group size only doubles without it, *then* you can start worrying about getting "more accuracy" out of your gun. Otherwise it's no use trying to squeeze 0.5 moa out of a 1 moan gun, when you've got a 2moa shooter driving.....
Ha ha ha. That is nothing. You should see what the serious shooters use. Clamps . Click adustments etc etc. it is just an arms race.
My friend was talking shit. Ofcourse he can beat me at the arms race. I told him to let me usehis gun and we would compete. Crickets.
I don't get it man, I like to better my self and test my skills. Not have something cemented down to a table so I look like the best marksman in the world. .
