Figured I'd start a new thread for this effort. I'm hoping everyone here who is on social media (Twitter, Facebook, whatever) will get involved. I'm directing this at Trump but also including the Second Amendment Foundation as well. Trump is all over Twitter, and does respond/react.

Looking for suggestions (140 characters or less for Twitter) on wording, comments, anything to get this moving. If you don't have Twitter, no problem. I'd be happy to tweet your comments. If enough get involved, it may make a difference.

The following is what I just sent:

That's a good start. I'd say keep mentioning the Safe Act to get it and keep it in his conscious thought. In light of the Fl shooting say something to effect of "Don't be fooled by the false narratives used in these situations to push gun control. Gun control only affects and hurts the people who don't commit these horrible crimes and whats more, further facilitates a safe environment for these criminals to commit these shootings."

Probably too late but I had a suggestion for music at the Inauguration. I realize Jackie Evancho will be doing the National anthem. However, at some very early point in the ceremony a performance of Aaron Copland's "Fanfare For The Common Man" would have been appropriate IMO. And the Icing on the cake is Copeland is an American composer

Look, you're sitting at home and a bad guy walks in with a gun. At least you want to have a shot at it, right? You don't want to be defenseless... But this SAFE Act is a disaster. Whoever ultimately is going to be the nominee for the Republicans, they better bring it up very loud and clear because that act is a catastrophe. I call it the unSAFE Act."
