I am going to go out on a limb and say none of these individuals are veterans let alone combat vets, just paid actors. I intentionally don't have many friends but any fellow combat veteran that I still associate with or knew in the past has always been a huge supporter of the 2A, for good reason.

Sunshine patriots are people who only believe in given laws or policies when their beliefs are not being tested. IE, the people who say they’re pro 2A but cave and start talking about gun control every time there is a shooting.
Hence the “sunshine” (things are going well / beliefs aren’t tested) part. They’re only patriots when the sun is shining.
Anyone using their veteran status to support denying constitutional rights of US citizens deserves ridicule.
