Glad it is being opposed. Thing is, people who value their 1st, 4th and 5th amendment rights and who may not really care about the 2nd, would still oppose this law because of what it means. Heck, probably people who may not own guns but are thinking they might want to apply for their permit down the road will not want this law. It's way too far reaching and has serious potential for abuses even beyond gun control. Most people want to prevent mass shootings and what not, but realize this isn't they way to do it.

People search all kinds of weird shit online. (Not me though.). It is not a fair barometer of their mental stability. Some guys look at porn (not me though), some guys look at foodie sites (again, not me though), some guys look at porn-food sites (not me, you are all sick in the head). I don’t have a fakebook account either. However, I do know a handful of like minded people that do who probably didn’t know anything about this, so I asked them to vote on it, including my wife.

In my law practice I look up all kind of weird s____ re some of my cases. Not personal but for business reasons. How is that not "attorney work product" in litigation and therefore privileged? What if you are a parent and you are checking into what your kids might be into? What if you are researching health issues that are supposed to be confidential? Each pistol application will the be like the Muller investigation. Lets see what we can find and then prosecute. He/She deserves it because he wanted a pistol.

I can see it now: List all the websites you have visited in the last five years. You failed to list one, you lied on your application, so the permit is denied. Now prosecution for perjury. OH WHAT A PILE OF S______ THIS WILL BE. Lot of work for lawyers, except they will mostly pick on people who can't afford lawyers. Which is most people.
