Yup. I'm pretty sure any sensible person would call this a justified shooting. Give the BLM folks a few days though.
We have to yell, "Police! Don't move!" whenever reasonable and prudent. Granted, "reasonable and prudent" is pretty subjective, but nowadays, I'm not willing to bank on the subjectivity of those judging me afterwards matching up with my subjectivity during the incident.

What is troubling to me is that she was backing up!!!! She could have very easily tripped and fallen on her butt, negligently discharging her firearm into the sun and leaving us all in the dark. Other than that, she did what she had to do.

She should have shot right away. Can't blame her human nature not to kill someone. Backpeddling is bad for a number of reasons and she shot down the street there was a car behind him and could have hurt someone else.
