.40 S&W
I finally bought a Ruger PC carbine in .40 S&W from Collectors in Hopewell Junction. Scott at Collectors mounted a used Nikon Monarch red dot that I had previously bought. I took the carbine to Blue Mountain Sportsmen’s Center to shoot it. Range Officer Jeff helped me sight it in for 50 yds. I shot targets and steel and was very accurate with this setup. I have had a Ruger SR40C for a few years so I have 6 mags that are interchangeable between the carbine and the handgun.
Next day, I went to my club, Dutchess County Pistol Association DCPA, to shoot the SR40C at their range 3 which has steel targets. Sunlight behind me really illuminated my TRUGLO TFO sights. Had a great time.
