What happen to the LAW student bringing NYC Pistol Permit Process to court?

What happened to the Law Student who brought his own carry case against NYC? Did they give him the permit to avoid it going to the next court? I can't find the link to the video.

Different circuits, different rulings, its only a matter of time before SCOTUS has to take a "may issue" v. "shall issue" case due to the conflicting rulings.
