Will LGS do transfers on fixed mag ARs?

As the title says. I will assembling a 6.8 AR next but need to move the 223 first. It's fixed with the T-nut welded to the mag release transfer bar. Or should I try to sell it out of state?

My LGS transferred a fixed mag ar from my buddy to me. Should be able to sell it in state.

As long as it's legal they should transfer it no problem.

I’m not sure where you are located but I bought a fixed mag AR preowned and I had to call around to find a place that would do the transfer. I had 2 places tell me No. I’d contact a store and make sure they are willing to do it before you show up there.

I sold an AR out of state about a year and a half after the Unsafe Act. It's real easy. Once I got the money order, I shipped the upper to his house in Texas.

The lower with the stock attached was shipped to his FFL. It was actually his idea after he contacted me over the phone. I was originally just going to ship it from PA on my day off. He said that wasn't necessary and explained to me what I had to do.

If you do it that way, you don't have to ship a complete compliant rifle to a free state.

Yeah. That way you can legally ship it with a standard mag release.
