Yup, and it would be the answer we're expecting.
Because, apparently, the Ninth Circuit and the S.C. do not understand the meaning of simple words like "keep", "bear", and "shall not be infringed".

It would only be the final nail in the coffin of the Supreme Court as a valid branch of government, and would be the ultimate final nail in the coffin of this illegitimate administration.

I don't know why this thread didn't show up in my search results. Nevertheless, here is what I just posted in an old thread requesting an update.

The Young v. Hawaii cert petition is scheduled for the SCOTUS long conference of September 27, 2021, along with 13 or so other cert petitions which present a Second Amendment question, or closely related question, to the justices.

Now and then, the justices will grant a cert petition prior to the release of the Orders List which is in turn typically released the following Monday, October 4th in this case, or perhaps sooner given that the long conference of September 27th is taking place on a Monday and the SCOTUS conferences usually take place on a Thursday or Friday.

The Orders List is the list of petitions that have been denied/granted, mostly denied. If a case that was scheduled for a specific conference does not appear on the Orders List for that conference then that means the petition will be rescheduled for a future conference or is being held for a decision in a particular case, i.e., NYSRPA v. Corlett.

The Young v. Hawaii cert petition was scheduled for its first SCOTUS long conference on September 27, 2021, along with 13 or so other cert petitions that present a Second Amendment question, or closely related question, to the justices.

The Orders List is the list of petitions that have been denied/granted, mostly denied. If a case that was scheduled for a specific conference does not appear on the Orders List for that conference then that means the petition will be rescheduled for a future conference or is being held for a decision in a particular case, i.e., NYSRPA v. Bruen (formerly NYSRPA v. Corlett).
