m91/30 is the Soviet long rifle. m91 was Imperial Russia (Nicholas II). The Soviets modernized the mosin and the maxim machine gun (1910) in 1930 and hense the "/30" in the designation.Acer, I'm not sure how all that works with the new laws, Oh shit, I am having a huge spike in my blood pressure, FUACUPOS! You'll have to sort that out. The bore needs a good scrubbing and maybe a swedge wrapped in 0000 steel wool, then it will probably look similar to yours, I don't know and don't have the time to deal with it. I don't know what 91/30 means. I would expect that once its properly cleaned up it would be a shooter but that would be your call. I know these guns have a big following and don't know what condition they must be in to be considered a 'good' one, I just assumed they are all like this one, some better, some worse. I ran a patch through it with some Hoppe's and its pretty rusty looking.

I don't think we have a lot of mosin fanboys on this forum.I heard these rifles are the greatest sniper rifle ever made. I heard that Mr. white death killed more people with this rifle than any other rifle.
Is this rifle sighted in? Can I shoot 2345'6" accurately with it? Does it have a Coriolis corrections built into the sighting system?
You probably could if your a trained sniper and your target is the size of the bismarkI heard these rifles are the greatest sniper rifle ever made. I heard that Mr. white death killed more people with this rifle than any other rifle.
