You should have also seen the vote tally go up one?Voted about an hour ago. Turn out was light while I was there but at my polling place it usually is during off-hours. My area is suburban leaning a bit more Republican. Woman there said there was a line formed when they opened and early morning turn out was good.
I am somewhat troubled after I cast my ballot.
In the past, after inserting my paper ballot into the machine, it would display a "ballot accepted" confirmation. I did not see that this time, it just returned to the "ready" screen. I mentioned it to the woman waiting to hand me my "I voted" sticker. She told me, "it was accepted, I heard it go ka-chunk." I replied that I did not see the confirmation screen. She then replied "well I heard it and I saw it said accepted." I don't know how she could have seen that when I did not - I was in front of the machine, she was more off to the side. I am hearing on WYSL of many reports of problems people are having with machines.

Also, record a video of your experience, it is your First Amendment Right to do so.
Okay, so, I just got back from voting.
I exercised my Right to vote as well as exercising my 2nd Amendment. I wore a "Veterans For Trump" hat as well.
I try to be a bit more chatty when I go to vote, gauge what is going on. I asked the poll worker about turn out. He told me that he has never seen so many voting at this particular polling station.
He says that he is amazed at how many people he has overheard talking highly of Lee Zeldin.
As my wife and I were finishing, another couple came in and voted. Well, the wife was voting. The guy voted earlier in the day and was there to coach his wife. She, apparently has never voted, he was letting her know how and where to mark the ballot. As we were leaving, he yelled over to me, "Go Lee". Getting a very good feeling about tonight's official call of this race.
I witnessed no issues with the voting machines. Took my ballot and a message came up that my sheet was registered.
Feeling good....
Signage at my polling place said showing ID was not required but did speed the check in process.Just a side note I voted with my wife. She swore you needed to show id to vote. She displayed her lisence and was given her ballot.
I stated my name address and birthday and was given mine.
I was trying to prove a point to her because she's not as far down the rabbit hole as me lol. She still thinks elections are secure but she was surprised that it was that easy for me. I explained to her that just because she thought she had to give her lisence doesn't mean it's mandatory
I voted. Never in my life have they compared signatures until tonight. Load of crap. We don't sign the same and they rejected me 3 times.
But what do I know about signing? I'm only a notary and sign hundreds of times a week.![]()
No. Dingle.Did you sign with your hands?
No. Dingle.
C'mon man, just pick Zeldin and be done with it.I will be going after dinner. No need to rush my decision. Still need to do a bot of research to ensure I vote correctly. Once a vote is cast, it cannot be undone.
Hysterical article. The Bee never lets me down.Fox news! Lol
Thanks for the vote for Kelly Vacco, my late friend Carmen Vacco's daughter in law. Good people!
