I got better sights for basically nothing. I do not like white 3 dot sights as I prefer blacked out rear with bright front sight. So using some flat black nail polish on the rear, and neon yellow nail polish on the front I got sights that I prefer. Had the fiancée pick out the nail polish and help, so it was a couples project. Now she wants me to do more gun stuff.
I did not get shit! Everything is freaking closed down here. One gas station open.

Blackberry Mead: One Gallon Recipe
Embark on a journey of brewing excellence with our latest creation – Succulent Blackberry Infused Mead! This delightful concoction blends the luscious sweetness of blackberries with the rich depth of honey, creating a mead that's nothing short of extraordinary. Get ready to savor the magic in every sip!
Ingredients:_____
- 4 cups blackberries
- 1 packet wine yeast
- 1 cup honey
- 1 gallon water
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- Sanitizer for equipment
_____Directions:_____
1. In a large pot, combine blackberries and honey. Mash the berries to release their juices.
2. Pour water over the blackberry-honey mixture and bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve the honey.
3. Once simmering, remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
4. Transfer the mixture to a sanitized fermenter, add wine yeast, orange slices, cinnamon stick, and cloves.
5. Seal the fermenter with an airlock and let it ferment for 2 weeks.
6. Strain out solids, transfer the liquid to a clean container, and let it ferment for an additional 4-6 weeks.
7. Bottle the mead, leaving behind sediment, and age for a minimum of 3 months.
8. Enjoy chilled or at room temperature.

Received my 320 expansion chamber slide and x Romeo package today .
Slapped it on my x carry mod for now .
My plan is to build it out with an AXG module with the walnut grip panels for a modern classic look .

I didn't get a new gun today.
Was cruzing a couple of pawn shops in Nevada and found a Glock 19 with a tritium front sight for about $100 less than I've seen them anywhere else, he would ship it, and no tax since it would be an out of state sale. The Glock had a 15 round magazine, and once he saw I was from NY - no deal. I told him he could keep the magazine. He didn't want to deal with it.
Shafted by the once great state of NY once again.

Not sure if I posted this before, but I got an OWB holster for my Walther P22. I want to carry the Walther while hiking or small game hunting.
I have a pretty complete group of accessories for it now. I'm still not certain what ammo it likes. It had some hiccups with all 3 brands of ammo I tried in it. CCI mini mags 1235 FPS, Fiocchi Field Dynamics 1060 FPS and Federal Auto Matchn1200 FPS. It actually seemed to like the Fiocchi the best.
