He got 60-70% of the vote in most counties. Wayne County, a few minutes down the road from me, he won with 84% of the vote. That socialist freak smoked him in liberal Nashville (Davidson County) with 77%, but it wasn't even a race in the rest of the district.

For comparison, Trump got 88% in Wayne and Harris got 62% in Davidson in 2024. TN is a very red state, but slowly shifting. Next presidential election could be a toss-up IMO.

The lesson from this election is that Democrats can run the worst possible candidates and still have a shot at winning. That's how deep TDS runs.

I’d argue most democratic politicians hate those that voted for them. They don’t care about the people and they only want power and control. At least the republicans try to do what’s right or what makes sense some of the time. All the democrats want to do is keep handing out stolen money to keep their voters ties to voting for them.

The differences from one end of that district to the other are pretty extreme. It would almost look like leaving Davidson county today and driving back in time to the 1930's as you get to the hillbilly-ist parts of Wayne County at the bottom of the state.
