With walleye its not exactly "where" as they are all through the river,the trick is how/when to catch them!

Never caught one in the Susquehanna, know guys that have caught massive ones near the golf course In Windsor but no luck here lol. All the ones I catch are in Whitney point.

Whitney has walleye but im not a lake fisherman,strictly the river now.Used to be into Steel head and Salmon but the 2 hour drive gets old especially if the creeks are blown out and nothing to catch.Most river fisherman here are into Bass cause they are what I call "Banker Hour Fish",dont have to wake up early to catch them but Walleye you have to get up at dawn if you want numbers.Right now there spawning but when there done they are going on a feeding frenzy as soon as water warms up a Little bit (hint).

Biggest suggestion I could give to help you is that Walleye love bridges (highway or train) as long as they have some depth as they cast a shadow all day,as they love low light conditions.Also current breaks play a big factor especially in colder water,whether its behind a huge rock or edge of an eddy that's where you start.

A nice susky walleye (not our biggest) 27" we got a couple years ago,last year was a flop to much high water from all the rain.

Yeah I caught a few in the lake but most in the river, they hang out in a spot a few hundred yards from a bridge. I just use a minnow jig and drift my kayak through that section and usually always get them to hit.

We fish South as well where the limit is 6 per person (not 5),like I said river is full of them everywhere.
