No one magic carry method. Access and comfort is much different when sitting vs standing imo. Shoulder rigs have their place but do require specific cover garments.

My 2 cents would be to shoot both back to back to see if there is a notable difference. I did that with 147 +p and 115 hard ball, they printed the same but the +p had more recoil. I did not think I needed to practice with the +p stuff.

I think Smith should make a 9mm j-frame, that could shoot 380 too. The shorter 9mm cylinder would take a bit of weight of the heaviest part.
