    I submitted my recert 4/22, it was accepted,given a Recertification number and vanished from the face of the earth. I have N.Y. , Utah and Tennessee Enhanced permits. My N.Y. permit has my new Tennessee address, but I still know my N.Y. I.d. Number. I do not plan on ever carrying in NY...

    PSA - Remember to check your pistol permit recertification date

    Submitted 4/22, received verificaTimon number. Still says expired 4/22, after the earlier submission. Check periodically, no change. I’m in Tennessee so I don’t care. Not planning on going back any time soon.

    Great idea, however there are so many other electronics needed in a modern vehicle, it is highly unlikely to work. Theft deterrent systems would need to handshake, and a used ecu has already been married to a specific key. The pre-1973 era is the best bet.

    NY stopping issuing permits for around 7+ months??

    This was/is required for the Tennessee Enhanced Carry permit. Good class, 8 hours, well worth the $80.00. I don’t know if it is applicable to the new NY bs, still haven’t received an answer about revert from 4/22.

    Permit Recertificaion

    Sent in the recert online 4/11/22 ( still have my NY I.d. #). Received confirmation email from Nysp with Confirm #. Just checked status…. Last recertificati 2017, nothing else shows up. Guess I’ll have to call them. Or stop caring. Have TN Enhanced Carry now!
