    New Hartford mall shooting

I've lived in the area since 1992 so used to go to both of those malls back in the day. Not too much any more. I have not been inside Sangertown in years, but I have been to Target a couple of times over the last 5 years or so. I go to Riverside to go to BJ's shopping club or to Bass Pro. If...

    New Hartford mall shooting

Shooting at Sangertown Square mall. In the video it looks like the other guy was moving away from the shooter when he drew his gun and started firing. Crazy. Sangertown Square Mall Shooting Suspect in Court; Video of Incident Released

    NYS CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS, 21-22

Yes me too, I voted for Williams the last time, this time got to vote for Stefanik. It could not find the new/upcoming district maps, just the current maps. I'm sure they are out there, I just couldn't find it quickly.

    Turning in my ballot today.

I went to the Rome early voting location during my lunch hour, and the line (outside the building) was too long for me to be able to wait and get back to work on time. I may try again tonight as they are open until 8 tonight. Edit: I found out later in the day that the Rome early voting...

transferring a pistol from deceased relative? Procedure?

Check with TRB's Guns up in Remsen, probably closest FFL to Holland Patent, and they are nice folks when I've been in there. Call ahead though as their hours can be irregular as I think they have other jobs.

Where do the laws currently stand?

Is Sam's Club private - membership required to enter? I have a BJ's Club membership, and anyone can go in but you have to be a member to buy.

Shootout near Onondaga county, officers down

It was an impressive and touching procession as they transported Officer Jensen from Syracuse to the funeral home in Rome today. Sad though.

    Sneaky Pete Holsters

I have a Bulldog vinyl "cell phone" holster that is similar to the SP but is oriented horizontally instead of vertically. Was cheap, but fits my needs for my morning dog walks. I got it for hot weather primarily when IWB is more difficult to conceal IMO. First time wearing it a guy who I used...

    DONE Free tires

Nice to offer them up for free, but also keep in mind that you may be able to sell them to Mavis or on Craigslist, or if you're on Facebook you can sell on FB Marketplace. I've been selling a few items on Marketplace lately, seems to work out ok.

Businesses That Allow Carry in NYS - UPDATED By Counties

Here's a few more for the Oneida County list: Runnings in Rome, Tractor Supply in Rome, and today I went to Nora's Candy Shop in Rome and she has several signs: front door, in the entryway, on the wall next to the counter, behind the counter, maybe even more that I missed. She also has a Sig...

Sorry if they've been covered already, but I had occasion to visit Tractor Supply and Runnings in Rome yesterday and they both had signs permitting concealed carry.
