The new fuddcannon I ordered came in today so I went on lunch and picked it up.
The QPQ tennifer finish is gorgeous and I absolutely love the brass bead front sight. Also pleasantly surprised to see they are doing a completely polished disconnector now.
Not for nothing but I happen to really like Aguila 22LR. Less expensive than CCI but seems to work just as well thru my semi auto, bolt action and lever action 22’s. Accuracy has been decent as well.
SDS imports (Tisas) has brought back the much requested Stakeout 45 model
MSRP is mid 500’s. To find an all forged 1911 built to proper spec with brass bead front sight and QPQ tennifer finish for sub $1k is unheard of.

Got a new achievement: - unlocked “Peak Boomer 45AARP” - conceal carry an all steel full size 1911 in 45acp with leather holster.

hand polished the flats of the slide and the trigger. Hand fit new solid medium length trigger, commander ring hammer, 20lpi checkered mainspring, hand polished sear and disconnector, then adjusted the sear spring for consistent clean sub 2.5lb break. Resprung with correct springs. Decided to...
