Its blowback operated. Though you can probably make it bolt action with stringer springs or a stronger charging handle latch

So in the past couple days NY passed Law to make Selling or Owning a 80% Lower a Class D Felony Law to make 'Ghost guns' illegal and that they MUST be registered buy a gunsmith Law to make Gun Sellers, Manufactures, Importers and Marketing liable for gun crimes.

Those with homebuilt and 80% guns get hit hard with this, they will HAVE to register it if they want to fix a part or change something since the stores will not sell them the parts directly and they would have to use them to install it, thus making the store register it.
