I've learned long ago not to get my hopes up. Granted, things have changed, in a MAGA way.
But I'm of the sort I'll believe it when I see shit actually happen.

But that doesn't mean I don't doubt President-elect Trump's resolve. This could be a thing.
For the time being though, I'll file this under - we'll wait and see what happens.

Trump's the man, he's alpha as fuck and is very good at being just that. I'm somewhat hopeful that he and his administration will fuck the swamp up.

I can only look forward to the possibility of Orange Man Good kicking the FBI so hard in their swampy nuts that they will never recover from such a blow. No mercy, ... MAGA!

Unless patel fires every senior and mid level manager he will be met with a bureaucracy that fights him in a very passive/aggressive manner. These people are not going down without a fight. I guarantee you there are meetings right now on how to appear cooperative while stalling all major changes. Prepare for all kinds of leaks to the press about how Patel and trump are violating all kinds of standards and norms .

I really don't see the FBI, ATF or any other agency department going away. The Leviathan is just too big now. However, if we can starve/neuter them then maybe something good will come out of them.

Personally, I'm more for repealing bullshit laws (Patriot Act, SAFE Act, etc.) than I am about disbanding agencies.
