PA is just around the corner
Told my wife that they will get more of our money.PA is just around the corner
Heavy duty outerwear is exempt from it and Danner will ship Gortex based shoes from what I saw. Danner has a Danner Dry and those all seem to be excluded. Maybe Gortex made campaign contributions or it’s somehow considered heavy duty? Another thing that makes no sense.Humm, I see a black market for Gortex outdoor wear...better get that Rain Jacket and Cammo Hunting suit before the State tells us once again what we aren't allowed to do.
Even the fucking communists don't restrict the lives, activities, and purchases of people the way NYS (and CA) do....Think on my next trip down South I'll buy some toilets, gas appliances, and Gortex clothes (and not pay NY Sales Tax) just as a fuck-you to the system.
Effective January 1, 2025, New York Bill S1322/A994[3] prohibits the sale or offer for sale within the state of any new apparel containing intentionally added PFAS.Heavy duty outerwear is exempt from it and Danner will ship Gortex based shoes from what I saw. Danner has a Danner Dry and those all seem to be excluded. Maybe Gortex made campaign contributions or it’s somehow considered heavy duty? Another thing that makes no sense.
New York and California: Bans on PFAS in Textiles and Apparel Begin January 1, 2025
Bans in California and New York on textile articles and apparel containing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) will take effect January 1, 2025. That same day, Colorado will commence its phased approach to prohibit PFAS in outdoor apparel for severe wet conditions, starting with a PFAS...www.morganlewis.com
The northernmost part of Mississippi, and NW Alabama don't look bad either.Looking at Arkansas to move too. F this place.
New York should not be part of the United States.
See "forever chemicals" which are bad, but we don't eat clothes and they AFAIK they don't leach the chemicals in their cured forms.I have to look this up..... PFAS compliant
OK, but we're drawing the line at thongs and speedo's...that's just too little, and none of us look good nekked anymore.FUKH you GIANT POS
I’ll wear what I want, where I want , when I want.
They are saving us all by proxy. If we can’t buy them the manufacturer isn’t making them. PFAS is bad but there has to be an alternative before they stop this crap.See "forever chemicals" which are bad, but we don't eat clothes and they AFAIK they don't leach the chemicals in their cured forms.
There were a few back in the day ,when that seemed to be the most important thing NYS had on its plate but you would have wanted to stab yer eyes out with a hot poker if you saw one of them. I glanced sideways at a photo of one of the women that was protesting for this back then and I developed a sty in one of my eyes for a month !Wasn't NY the first place that "legalized" women going around topless?
There was this whole argument that a man's bare chest was as erotic to a woman as a woman's bare chest was to a man.
But we can't wear comfortable and long lasting footwear due to some product that was added to it.
(ironically, I have yet to see ANY woman out in public bare chested. guess it wasn't that important after all)
Im guessing we can figure out who failed geology AND geography in 7th/th grade.rocks dont break down either .. forever rocks .. bann rocks ..
