Finally got another Glock 17 gen3 frame today.

Moved the frame that was from my Glock 31 back into the 31 internals and complete slide.

Used this new stripped frame for my Glock 37 internals and slide.

I went with a different pattern this time. I also went outside my comfort zone and went beyond the factory outlined grip area and around the back strap connecting the other side. I am undecided if I want to grind down the finger grooves and add an undercut into the trigger guard.

Also added a time lapse video with some classy music.

Nice. Are you using a regular soldering iron, or something with temperature control?

I decided to go all in and did the back strap and knuckle undercut; my first time for both.

First I had to grind down the existing Gen3 texture, clean it up with 99 isopropyl alcohol and used a hobby torch (in short bursts) to burn up any residue and dust from the grinding.
