It's a very nicely refinished nickel. The nickel hammer and trigger gave it away to me it was refinished, and allowed me to get it at a much reduced price.
aaah yes, now I see. I suppose if I had actually zoomed into the photo I would have noticed that it was Nickel. Nice piece none the less.
Not to hate on Glocks, they make a fine Pistol, but they have no soul, style, or personality...The 1911 has hands down all those in Spades.
Come to think of it, I've a half dozen or so myself.

Here's an unusual one. This Colt Trooper MKIII .357 has a factory 5" barrel, is nickel plated, and marked for the Florida Highway Patrol. FHP had a thing for 5" nickel revolvers.

Years ago I was fortunate enough to find the Colt Officers Model Match MKIII .38 Special. Colt only made 496 of them, 350 of which were exported to foreign markets. This one was someone's shooter. The only other one I've seen in the flesh was still in the box with papers, and was way out of my budget.
I have a '79 Trooper MKIII that looks identical.
