Upstate NY Man fires on police Armored Vehicle

So they shot and killed an unarmed man? I wonder how Letitia James will handle this one. It’s on video. I’m guessing since it’s the purple tie squad it will be overlooked.
Shooter is dead, did not survive. He may have had a psychotic streak.

I told him I was not here about the deer, but that we were widening St Highway 812 a bit. He said ok. but I backed out slowly.

I am sure he got rid of the evidence fast.

I used to do business up there with the talc companies / mines in Natural Bridge and Gouverneur, and would travel Rte. 812 regularly.
It is absolutely beautiful scenery with plenty of perfectly banked and easy to navigate curves,- perfect for motorcycle riding too. I used to put the pedal down! What a great stretch of road up in the Adirondacks!
Of course, - that was before Fort Drum expanded,- and the purple tie squad boys began patrolling it regularly…

30 seconds prior he was unloading his 12 gauge shotgun into the driver’s side window of the armored car.

I get it. He dropped it, had his hands up and you can hear him on the video saying I do t have a gun anymore. It was half sarcastic but I truly am wondering how Letitia James will handle this. I’d be even more curious if he was black or an illegal.

I haven't heard much about it since it happened in March. The officer is still on leave last I knew.
The guy is black, I think. His sister went on the news shortly after it happened and said her brother didn't have a firearm, guess she was wrong

Who knows if he had a handgun on him. Just because he dropped the shotgun doesnt mean he didnt have another gun on him. Would need to see bodycam footage of the trooper that shot him to make a better decision.

I guess it depends on your timing. When he got shot he didn’t. I’m really just playing devils(leftists) advocate here.
My point t is when the left needs to cops to win elections they ignore things like this, when they don’t it’s BLM riots.

If it were any of us the least we could expect would be manslaughter charges. The man dropped his weapon and had his hands up. I am not saying the cops were wrong but I have seen a friend prosecuted and put in prison for doing the same thing.
