165F is about 74C. My GPU fans only start to ramp up at that temp. Not even really close to CPU warnings on my overclocked i5 4670k. Which processor is that?

No more liquid cooling for me, I had a leak once. There are some very good air coolers nowadays.

Mine normally runs between 98-125F so I know something is wrong. Still using the i3 I put in it 5 years ago. I put new thermal paste on it today thinking maybe the old stuff was getting dried out and not transfering heat as well but it's still way too hot. It shut down during the last debate so it hit the thermal protection, don't remember what that's set at though.

It running at 172F right now, this thing never runs that hot, ever. I'm using the Antec Kuhler because I use a wood stove in the winter and it gets pretty warm in here so I wanted to keep it as cool as possible. Time to be looking for different cpu cooler and see if that helps. If not I know the i3 is giving up.
