My thoughts as well. This show is going to have two lines, one to get into the building, and another even longer one extending out the back end for everyone who has to wait 30 minutes to purchase their single box of ammo.
I’m torn between sticking to my principles when it comes to refusing to use this new system, but at the same time, not wanting local stores to lose business because of it.
I’ve made a habit of stopping by a local gun store after work to pick up a box of ammo every now and then, about 30 minutes before they close. If they’re still open after the 13th, I don’t think that’ll be possible any more. There’ll probably be “ammo waiting lines” at most stores because of this.
I remember learning how to shoot .22 rifles at Sabattis when I was 12. Rifle and shotgun merit badges were one of the few classes scouts were actually excited to attend each day. As if seeing membership and overall scouting interest decline didn't hurt enough, this just rubs salt into the wound.
