@cgruit, I agree.
The kids had fun, that's all that matters.
I had mine. When we would be on a boat I would hook a fish without them
knowing and then ask them to do me a favor and hold my rod for a minute.
My only worry was that they would unexpectedly have the rod ripped out of there hand.
If you go on a party boat you have to pick your day.
You can't go on a weekend when it's 90 degrees.
You also have to know where on the boat you want to fish.
If you are bottom fishing or you know they will anchor up you need to fish in the stern, preferably one of the corners.
If there going to...
@cgrutt, nice pic.
Water nice and flat.
Must of been on the way out.
Every thing is clean.
No fish or blood on the deck.
Catch any bluefish that day?
Is that a can flip top on a leader as a teaser ahead of that diamond jig.
@knuts, If you want to stay local with 4 people someone mentioned the Klondike out of New Rochelle.
They are friends of mine. Pete and Gary are good fisherman and boatman.

A few years ago we did a crew trip in the fall for tuna one night going to Block Canyon 90 miles...
I have a Surefire that I use with combat rings and a Streamlight that I use with a lanyard.
Both systems have their pros and cons.
I would like to know which system do you prefer and why.
Thanks in advance.
@knuts, are you and your friends looking to charter a boat or do you want to go on a party (open) boat?
Do you know when you want to go or what type of fish you would like to catch?
The NYS D.E.C. regulated saltwater fishing by imposing seasons and quotas on different species.
You and your...
What an excellent day of training and education.
The Movement and Cover class was great despite the weather.
This is what I find to be the norm when training with Chris at M.D.T.S..
The In-Extremis Medical Seminar was very well done.
The class teaches you what you need to know when dealing with...
The class title makes it sound basic but it's far from that.
Most people can shoot bullseyes at 7 yards with 2 hands.
But how about shooting 10, 15 and 25 yards.........
first with one hand, then with just your support hand !
Not so easy. That's why his classes are so great.
He challenges his...
@Tim716, I hope you can find your way around your girl friend
better than you can find your way around this forum. LOL !!!
Try this link, PA Pistol License
@togmaster, Thanks for standing up in my defense.
@Celt, We have something in common.
Regardless of what togmaster said about my looks I too could not be hired as an RSO because if there
were any woman on the line they would be checking me out instead of paying attention to the instructor.
@Celt, Not an insult. Sorry if it sounded as such.
You have trained along side him in a class and so have I.
Why not train with him as a student.
Ben (Onsight Firearm Training) has a life that you and I would love to live.
If he's not teaching which reinforces his knowledge and skills.
He's...
@Criticalt, Very Nice !
I was in Yellowstone a few years ago and an osprey built a nest and had young on a Verizon tower.
Yellowstone wouldn't allow the Verizon workers near the tower until after they left in the fall.
@MikeGrad, It seems you can't give them more than one license change at a time.
I put in a amendment today to add a pistol.
I was told about 4 weeks.
He told me they pass off the handgun paperwork
to the court who distributes it to one of 5 judges.
Since it was taking so long I fantasized that I was being upgraded from Sportsperson to Full Carry.
No Such Luck !
I plan on applying for one in a year or two.
I received my handgun license renewal in the mail today.
Do you think they could sit on it any longer, 10 weeks and 1 day.
Next week I'll be adding a handgun.
Lets see how long this will take.
Hopefully less than 6 weeks.
Loose Leaf Law Publications is the best for all this info.
They also have a lot of other good books.
They are located in Flushing, NY.

I have 1.5" wide BullBelts in black and brown.
I have them for a few years.
I love them.
They are very strong and never seem to wear or stretch.

You can't go wrong with either the Sig P320 or the M&P 9C.
I have the Sig and the M&P in 40. Go to your LGS and handle both.
See which one feels better and gives you a natural point of aim.
I prefer the M&P. I shoot it more accurately.
Edwardteach 72, Joe Blow was talking about NH.
To get a NH non-resident permit you don't have to have one from your state of residence.
When you get it PA is one of the states that honors it.

I have a Westchester County Sportsman.
At the Centre County Sheriffs office in Belafonte Pa. they didn't even bat an eye.
The permit I was given has no restrictions.
