Good Luck.
@Robin I have a Mini 14 model 581 and this strut fit that barrel, which got me to finally mount the blued strut set I've had for awhile. So this set should fit yours just fine.
PM your shipping info and I will get it out to you.
Interesting, Good luck with finding ammo for this rifle ( not being saccastic ) This is something you would find at a gun show or garage sale.

A pair of grab handles for the tractor, between them and the 8" drop step makes it a lot easier for me getting on and off with out grabbing the steering wheel.
Plus those mirrors are neck/back saver!!
Came home the other day as the Adirondack tourist train was blowing it's horns about a mile or so away, and boy o boy did a pack of yotes start singing back to it and this was 4 or 5 in the afternoon. When I go out back on the tractor I carry my Ruger single six with 22 magnums.
My old Ruger MKII is a nice pistol, a bit of a bear to take down to clean and reassembly but it does shoot any ammo.
Love my Browning Buckmark Contour for shooting Bullseye, can be a bit fussy with some bulk ammo but shoots Federal Auto Match and CCI SV just fine .
Have both the Full size (...
Mo-Rod strut, I took this off my Mini 14 in 6.8 SPC when I traded it off should fit a 5.56 ranch rifle with new heavier barrel. Can't say it made the rifle shout better but it does look good on it!!
Spoken for and gone, Enjoy @Robin...
First is it unloaded? Can you open the bolt?
If so can you remove the action from the stock?
Just spit-balling here..
Edit, Sorry I just saw the action screws are removed!
Thanks will head out to the one in Gloversville this morning, My M&P 22 is fussy about ammo and it did like Blazer in the 50rd boxes loose stuff no so much!
Just mounted the Holosun red-dot, this model does not require use of the mounting plate and I was surprised it co-witness's with the open sights. Off to the Club tomorrow and sight it in.
I've handled the Canik really nice trigger and reviews on it are very good.
Having 12 magazines (@ $45.00+ each) already kind of helped with my choice of stay with the M&P line, I'm also never going to be a Top-Gun shooter so to speak.
Instead of moving the Vortex Venom from the M&P 1.0, I just ordered a
HOLOSUN SCS-MP2-GR Green Multi-Reticle 2 MOA Dot & 32 MOA Circle Pistol Sight Compatible with Smith & Wesson M&P-M2.0, 9mm & 40 S&W - Solar Charging Sight with Auto Adjusting Reticle Brightness
Should be here Saturday.
