We train militaries around the world, not always about fighting a certain enemy. Pretty sure someone looked it up here previously and could tell us how many training missions we have around the world. We sell a awful amount of military hardware everywhere around the world and they need to be...
Kinda funny you bring up me looking things up but at the same time you do the same.
My guess is that nobody here as been to this current war zone either.
So I guess we are all in the same boat, looking up things, i.e. research
Would those sanctions be in place if Russia didn't invade? Of course not. Arming and training is what we do. If someone is willing to pay our capitalistic economy demands it.
Our treatment, give me an example. You start a war, lose it, suffer consequences and it's our fault. Did that happen after ww2? No it didn't I wonder why that happened. Maybe because we didn't allow a little dictator spew that propaganda like after the first one.
It wasn't as if all those former Warsaw Pact countries were forced into NATO. They joined because they wanted to. I wonder if it has something to do with there deep mistrust of Russian goals. They realized back then that while the soviet union imploded, it would be only a matter of time before...
A quick look at Virginia National Guard units show a heavy transport company located in Gate City. Maybe out for some weekend drills. Not sure of the TOE of a transport company these days for size of what you saw.
Off course the status changes, however as a uniformed soldier you can't go around and shoot any civilian in the afternoon you see just because they may have had a gun in the morning. If you do that then you are a war criminal, correct?
Figured I would do what you do.
How to we know those aren't a bunch of a Russians dressed up in to look like Ukrainians.
Hey, they aren't supposed to use pows in propaganda pieces, it's against the Geneva convention.
No they did not just show up around the 9th century in the kievan rus empire. They probably came from a tribe of indo eurasian ethnicity called the veneti that inhabited the area of modern day Belarus, Poland and Ukraine
Tactically dumb and no matter what you think about reporting of casualties by either side, it's probably more then what the Russian high command anticipated.
Dementia Joe's problem is that they spend the last several months basically daring Putin to invade Ukraine. While all along he believed he would use his foreign policy acumen to earn himself a Nobel peace prize. Problem was he had so screwed this country in such a short period and the normal...
Actually that is what used to happen. In the past 10 years alot of politicians and their children are joining and serving. In the past if any served they were usually republican, but now it's probably about fifty fifty. I think the democrats realized they had to add that to their playbook.
I...
Came yesterday in the mail, signed 3/4 by Judge Brown. Total of 22 days, best turnaround in 5 years. I hope the clerks office has finally gotten their act together.
Still no reason for this to take as long as it does. You should go from store, to clerks office, check if license still good, add...
It takes 2 to tango and right now neither side will agree to those terms. The Ukrainians are happy to receive western aid and bleed the Russians dry. The Russians are starting to realize that subduing the Ukrainians is not going to be easy and they are going to have to do whatever it takes to...
You do see it occasionally. I saw a video posted early on here of a Ukrainian howitzer battery abandoned on a highway. I also saw what looked like a Ukrainian artillery battalion sitting in a field abandoned because all of its transportation had been destroyed.
The same could be said for you, why so much effort to stick up for Russia right now?
Certainly don't say anything about attacking Russia as per my last line, that you missed.
I believe if you think you are a first world power then you better believe that you should stomp all over a third world power in less time than it's taken.
I believe also that if you believe your military is technically superior to your enemy then taking as many causulities as they have is not...
What is real at this moment is that the Russians are not in a cakewalk. They are hurt and in trouble. Dementia Joe put us in this situation with his chamberlain like foreign policy decisions. Unfortunately we have picked a side and the only decision we have now is how far we support the...
I don't think they have very many SU-57's operational. I saw that only 2 took part in operations in Syria. Read elsewhere that the first operational squadron (24 planes) wasn't going to happen until 2025.
That would be my point, especially if the fuel tankers show up to distribution point that the quartermaster had already sold the fuel off to the locals
Mailed 2/18, check was cashed 2/28. Doesn't look like it will be 2 weeks. Definitely know that my last 3 amendments have averaged about 30 days from when check was cashed.
I've both dropped and mailed my last couple of amendments and I think dropping off only saves a day or 2. It's just a pain...
Wonder why they are out of fuel? They seem to have enough oil as they are still selling it around the world right. I wouldn't be surprised if the Russian quartermaster's have been selling it to all the local gas stations in Russia and Belarus before they invaded.
