Homeboy encountered a classic case of FAFO.
Looking to do a straight swap in NYC or Long Island area. We can meet up and pay each other's transfer fees.
The Mossberg has less than 100 rounds fired through it. It's been a safe queen.
Can anyone recommend a good way to remove the coating off an aluminum frame? I'm not sure what is coated with. I was thinking of stripping the paint off my Girsan 2011 frame.
When I get bored, I got thru my screwed up brass and turn them into key chains. Does anyone else do this?
I recently trimmed down a 45-70 casing (damaged from a bad press) to 1.6500 and dropped a bullet into it. Gonna drill out the primer and put in a in eye loop screw.
Just wondering if I'm...
Purchased this a while back before NY went full retard on AOWs. I never got to shoot it and its been living in PA at my second home. I'll be finally be getting around to shooting it this weekend. Its too bad you can't load mini shells in semi's.
The one odd thing I found is that it can take...
Got to my place in PA today for some weekend fun and my Condition 1 45" rifle truck was waiting for me on my door step.
Its solid and well built with nice laser precut foams. They utilized the extra space well making compartments to hold mags and accessories.
It easily holds four rifles with...
Decided to do some upgrading/mods to my beloved M4.
Ordered a slew of stuff from Black River Manufacturing. For an optic, I'm torn on an Aimpoint Pro or Acro P-2 or EOtech EXPS2. The light source I'll be getting an DEFENTAC I took a chance and purchased one from Amazon and while back and it...
Finally got another Glock 17 gen3 frame today.
Moved the frame that was from my Glock 31 back into the 31 internals and complete slide.
Used this new stripped frame for my Glock 37 internals and slide.
I went with a different pattern this time. I also went outside my comfort zone and went...
Got some parts in for the Glock 38. I forgot to get a shiny anodized red mag release. I'm on the fence if I want to send the 38 slide out for porting and optic cut like my 37.
They look nice together, the 37 and 38. The 38 has been in my rotation as one of my EDCs and im enjoying it...
Well, I guess there's no turning back now. I'm involved in a multiparty lawsuit against the city for the delays with issuance on both permits and purchase authorization. If my lawyer gives me the OK, I will share further details.
Mirel gave me the go ahead to link the file for the Lawsuit...
Got Tyrant CNC hardware for my Hellcat
Extended Slide release
Slide cover
Takedown lever
I.T.T.S trigger
Got them all in metallic grey to add a different tone into the mix.
Also got me and Xtech mag grips.
I've had my 1895G for a few years and been slowly customizing it. I got the last piece in today and can proudly say that it's finally finished.
Midwest Industries M-LOK handguard
Wild West Guns Big Loop
Ranger Point Precision Stock

Gotta love it. Someone should prosecute that twatwaffle. I'm pretty sure 80% frames are illegal in DC.
I was thinking about getting a wall mount system for my guns for my gun room. Is Hold Up Displays any good and fair on pricing? The setup I want they are quoting me $2100ish.
144" W x 60" H with:
(2) vertical 6 rifle racks
(2) horizontal 3 rifle rack
(20) Right facing in-barrel handgun mounts...
I made the mistake of buying large bars of lead for my slug casting endeavors.
I tried to use a hacksaw and bandsaw but it doesn't work too well.
Any recommendations to chop these suckers down? They are too large for my pot.
I currently dry tumble and I find it to be messy at times and sometimes the cleaning polish gets inside the cases sometimes, which is annoying.
Any opinions?
Pros and cons... Go.
Got my delivery from RCBS today.
Had to order their tamper crimp/seating die and shell holder since Lee's aren't too great for .50 AE.
The rim on the Hornady brass is a mm or so too thick and won't fit in the Lee shell holder, and well their crimp die doesn't do shit.
Set up the crimp and...
Finally got my first batch of 7.5x55mm made. I would have had a nice 100, but I fucked up two brass.
The Lee Autodrum rifle tube was at its limit. I almost screwed out all the way to drop 45.0gr (it was consistently dropping 45.2) but that's fine. The "Not Exceed" in both the Lee manual and...
I'm not sure if there are many of you who reload 50 AE, but I figured I'd share some of experience so far.
The Lee shell holder that comes with the die set doesn't like Hornady brass. It is less than 1mm thicker than the Starline and Speer brass but enough to cause issues.
I ordered an RCBS...
I came across some 50 AE rounds at a garage sale this weekend in PA for extremely cheap.
(1) box Hornady 300gr JHP
(80) loose rounds - has Hornady casing with what looks like FTX bullets
(2) boxes Magnum Research 300gr JHP
I read somewhere that the DEagle doesn't like cast lead or non jacketed...
I couldn't find the news article anywhere but some co-workers sent me screenshots today.
The guy is the Executive Director of the NYC Regional Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee.
While I firmly believe in the 2nd Amendment and believe that NYC/NYS law regarding AR's are ridiculous...
My eBay haul I recently won for $213.50 finally arrived. There was a lot more than expected plus some other random items I found in the box.
Reference post: 'Starting a "What did you Get today" thread. Let's give it a try (dont forget pics)' Starting a "What did you Get today" thread. Let's...

How the fuck is this even legal? The corruption in this State is getting out of control.
I asked in the Glock forums, but the responses are slow going.
I have Berry's 185gr flat nose FMJ bullets. In Lee's 2nd Ed. there is load data for 185gr but for XTP bullets.
Lee's quotes 4.8gr starting charge, not to exceed 5.5gr of HP-38 powder. The other issue, in the picture provided, it...
I know its obnoxious, over kill, and expensive, but I want one.
Talk me out of it!!
I'm also considering a Prodigy or possibly a Staccato, but I dont really want another 9mm even though those are two very nice guns.
Just to scratch the itch of a hand cannon I was thinking maybe the Taurus...
Finally found a company who makes a mount for the Frankford Arsenal Pile Driver! Since I have all my large reloading tools using the Inline Fabrications Ultramount system, I wanted to do the same for this.
It wasn't that difficult. The mounting points for the BGS mount was 4 points in a...
Got bored so I figured no better time than to start reloading a new caliber.
I've had the dies for quite sometime, recently purchased primers, brass, and bullets. Decided for the first to around, single stage was the way to go.
Made (100) for my first batch.
Assorted once fired brass (small...
I confirmed this morning with someone in the Licensing Division that the two handgun limit on the CCW has now been removed.
I am waiting to hear what the process is to have all the handguns on my premise to be transposed to my CCW.
Here is my latest purchase. Since NYC finally decided to allow frames, I made up a clone Glock 37.
I'm thinking of either getting the factory slide and barrel ported/window cut -or- getting a fancy Shadow Systems DR920 stripped slide off eBay.
I'm pretty sure the barrel outer diameter is the...
Just out of curiosity I called 1PP License Division on Wednesday to see if by some miracle there was a change in their stance of purchasing a serialized FCU or frame and not an entire gun.
For the longest time, their stance has always been that you MUST purchase an entire handgun.
To my...
Is it just me or does anyone wish that there was some kind of FCU type device to hold a slide and grip module together for easy storage.
Obviously the device wouldn't be capable of housing any trigger parts therefore not requiring a serial number.
A while back, I picked up a M94 M96 Carl Gustaf mauser for around $100. It was slightly severly bubba'ed but seemed to function fine. No matching numbers and the stock was chopped up into a sporter configuration.
I initially purchased it to be a project gun with hopes to do a restoration...
After waiting almost 90 days to get my damned purchase authorization; no thanks to the useless fucks over at the NYPD licensing division.
I was finally able to pick up my Glock 21 Gen4. I scored this used for dirt cheap.
Threw on some bling pieces. I'm tempted to get both barrels for my 20...
Connecticut was like "hold my beer" when it comes to lack of information or getting a hold of a person to get proper information.
The initial application process for the out of state CCW was a tad bit annoying. The only way to get the packet was by emailing them a request for the packet via...
I own a pre Ruger Era Marlin which shoots great and works fine that I purchased about 10 years ago (maybe longer).
A buddy of mine recently purchased a Ruger Era 1894 Marlin, put less than 200 rounds through it and several screws walked themselves out while shooting it.
I've been in the market...
Replaced by Boyd's stock on my 1895G with the RangerPoint stock. Definitely a huge upgrade in terms of comfort and modularity. I also purchased the comb and 6 round quiver for the stock as well.
Now my 1895G has the complete tacticool look and feel. All jokes aside, the RP stock is beefy and...
I applied for my CCW back in July 2023 and it's still in the investigation phase.
A friend of mine applied on November 2023 and he already was approved. He never had any permits prior to this. One would think that it would be easier to vet me for my CCW since I currently hold a premise and...
I have a beat-up Glock 19 Gen 3 slide that I'm tempted to give a try in doing some cosmetic milling on.
I was thinking about using my drill press with an end-mill bit and cutting a vertical window cut along the Y-axis of the slide.
I'm sure using a punch to make divot so the initial drill bit...
I found this little thing on Etsy. It's a great little do-dad that smooths out the operation of the Load Master press.
It looks like some kind of caster wheel that the shell plate wheel bar rolls on.
Definitely a must have, it was $23.
Today I deprimed and resized hull/brass on 500 shells.
Also received my Redneck Gold in the mail, nice clean 5lb lead ingots.
Just waiting on some other tools to arrive in the mail.
Lee Pro Melter pot
Lee 690 round ball mold
Hull roll crimp clamp vice
Hull trimmer
Roll crimper
I'm going another direction with my M1A, and I'm not a huge fan of scout scopes (learning after the fact).
I bought it back in March 2020 from Optics Planet (yeah yeah, I know).
Lightly used, not even 100 rounds on it, it's in very good condition. Glass is clean, no scratches. Comes with...
I absolutely hate the recoil on my M1A Socom. After doing some research, I found that Witt Machining makes a good clamp-on brakes. I've read and watched several reviews and it got positive reviews.
Now, obviously threads are a no-no in NYS but what's the legality of a clamp-on if I don't mag...

One has to wonder what is in the pipe that this shooting would be used to push.
