Redfield Widefield 2-7x with post & crosshair reticle, nice clear scope.
Bought to use on my NEF 308. Looks like a previous owner over tightened the mounts some. Tried it once but didn't like the non-click adjustments.
$100
Lyman All American Perma Center 20X fine crosshair with dot. Awesome...
Selling a Lyman Devastator 45 acp 185gr hollow point mold including handles & over 400 hard cast bullets
$100 ftf in Hudson Falls.
Due to upcoming surgery, I won't be shipping.
Thanks
Doesn't the 6.5 Jap use a .264 bullet? I'd recommend slugging your bore before using a .2665 diameter bullet. I'm sure the Jap action is plenty strong but better safe than sorry.
Is Hornady still manufacturing the .268/.2665 dia 6.5 Carcano bullets? I can't find any for sale on line. Have a few hundred & trying to estimate a price in case I part with them.
Thanks for the offer but I won't be selling any firearms at the moment.
I have the Pentax K-3 with 13 lenses...14 lenses after the mail comes tomorrow.
Two British nylon bandoleers, 150rds each 55gr 5.56 including clips & magazine charger.
One bandoleer seems to be all South African stamped 83-12
Other is a variety of military ammo including South African, LC & others. Twenty rounds are Winchester SP factory ammo.
$100 for each bandoleer.
Two...
Thanks, this helps a lot.
It was reloaded by me.
In the past, reloaded ammo could be sold as long as the buyer provided a signed statement that all ammo would be used as components only.
Looks like my inertia puller will get some use this Spring.
Trying to clean out my closet and figured I'd part with some ammo. At this time, is there a market for reloaded ammo? Have over 600rds of 45acp with 200gr lswc bullets. Also over 200rds of 7.62x51/308 Win topped with 147gr fmj bullets. I know I'd have to sell reloads with the understanding that...
Have five, 18rd boxes of military 6.5 Carcano ammo. Each box includes three brass clips which usually sell for over $10 each. Ammo probably won't fire due to old primers but when I reloaded powder & projectiles into new brass and primers, they functioned fine. $35 per 18rd box
Vintage box...
I've always wanted a railroad spike knife. After researching, I found that the spikes are made in two varieties, low to medium carbon content. Always wondered how good they might be & they look solid!
I see them on Ebay & really like this one.
If you're not going to be match shooting, might give surplus powder a try. Pat's Reloading has 8lbs of WC844 surplus 5.56 powder for $159.99
They also have WC846, WC846 T at the same price. It's like BLC-2, slightly slower burning for the 308 but works great in 5.56, especially with heavier...
To increase dependability, the Mini 14 is over gassed. You can buy smaller inside diameter gas bushings or do what I did, a 3/32 roll pin inside the existing bushing. Empties fall at my feet and accuracy was improved.
I understand there's an aftermarket gas assembly that's adjustable also.
I've had a variety of black powder pistols over the years including the Walker, what a cannon! The pistols are easy to buy, no permit required unless you want to shoot them. Then they have to be added to your pistol permit.
When I tried to sell my Ruger Old Army, I found out it needed to be...
Nice knife! I have the Kershaw Blur and Volt II with SpeedSafe. Love them both but prefer the Volt II because it opens like yours instead of stub on the side of the blade.
My 80yr old father asked me to help him cut a few trees down at his camp. I looked around at the surrounding power lines and said Nope, get someone insured. I haven't cut a tree down since I was about 16 while helping my grandfather. He taught me how to handle a saw safely and I taught him how...
I bought the Kershaw Volt & Blur from Amazon. Went to order a Volt for my dad and "cannot ship to my location". Bought it on line from Walmart no problem.
I always used H110/296 full house loads. If I recall correctly, it's dangerous to reduce loads lower than the books recommended starting loads. I also used WC-820 which was a surplus M1 carbine powder.
Graf sells the 6.5 & 7.35 brass. 6.5x52 Carcano - Rifle Brass - Metallic Reloading - Graf & Sons 7.35x51 Carcano - Rifle Brass - Metallic Reloading - Graf & Sons
They also sell the LEE 7.35 dies. LEE 7.35MMx51 CARCANO 2 DIE SET, S/H #2 - Graf & Sons
Congratulations. I have three 6.5 Carcano's. My first was a model 38 that I paid $75 for many years ago and someone already hacked up the stock. I added a rosewood tip and moved the bolt handle to the rear using a mig welder & spare bolt. Also added an adjustable rear sight from a Thompson...
I used to reload for mine but don't recall what bullet or powder I was using. The bullet ogive is quite different on Swiss ammo so pay attention so you don't run the bullet into the rifling when chambering.
Here's a couple articles worth reading. Reloading the 7...
Hope to go hammock camping in the Adirondacks this weekend. So much more comfortable than a tent & you don't have to worry about a snowy or icy ground. Camping bud of mine decided to get a double hammock for himself this winter and has slept in it quite a few times by hanging it from his car...
