Obama can not be Vice President. He is not qualified. To be qualified, you have to be eligible to be President, and he is not, because he has already served his two terms.

Biden's campaign war chest can only be used for someone on the ticket. If Biden drops out, that only leaves Kamala. Anyone else would have to raise their own money, and time is too short for that.

Let's not forget one important point. While many Democrat viewers were shocked by Biden's obvious decline, there are plenty of Democrats who knew about it but were hoping for a good performance in spite of it. These are the people who are perfectly fine with a dementia patient for President...
