Well, the 'simple enough for me' solution there is to set up a another Gmail (much as I despise Gmail, but there is a good reason) that has the specific purpose of being for contests and not caring if it gets spam.
The good reason to use Gmail for this , and it would seem fewer know this trick...

Seems to be very simple entry. Just full name and email , and this is on Springfield's own webpage. It does seem you have to confirm sign up to their mailing list in your email via a link they send. Man.. I do want this one.

Gleam entry (I know it's a pain , but almost all contests use this so if you enter contests just get over it.. heh)
Seems to be good with NY winners from what I read.

I wouldn't take much on that on that channel seriously at all.
Notice the speaker in all the voiceovers sound's a bit off in exclamations and timing ? That's because it's not a human. They're using AI text to voice, stock footage/photos, and most likely mostly AI written text, to just compile...
The problem with stuff like this is that no one saying these things seems to bother learning anything about the Palestinian culture and people or who 'they' do or don't want to kill. It's just primarily based on assumptions and, quite frankly, the arrogance of Americans to go by headlines and...
Ok.. so, that's quite obviously a blatant complete fabrication.
First off, that data simply isn't there.
"No comprehensive, up-to-date tally for the entire country over just the past three weeks has been published by a major international body (UN, ICRC, etc.). That means we cannot state an...
Easy enough to find that answer anyway.
CHatGPT: Question: I have read the fact that there were an estimated 20k to 25k Hamas fighters at the start of the war. Who is this according to ?
U.S. and Israeli intelligence estimates
"Some U.S. and Israeli assessments have suggested that Hamas’s...
As the Gaza war started in 2023, I don't really see what that has to with anything.. actually, that makes it worse.
Because of the 55 year population boom, Gaza has a higher population of children and young adults than any other any region in the world. Nearly half of the population are...
I'm sorry but.. what ?
First I checked the figures and 71% of all Jews in the U.S. identify as Democrats, and that includes the Orthodox Jews that are typically Republicans. Take them out and you have 76% - 80% Democrat. I have rarely met a Jewish (non-Orthodox) person that isn't a liberal (as...
I've never privately owned a Glock, they just weren't for me, but I do see some minor improvements here.
The biggest problem for me has always been the more acute grip angle, which is why I've rarely fired a Glock without getting slide bite. Honestly I've always wondered why this isn't as big a...
Pretty sure this one works, not sure about the ammo. Rules state where legal is all good, and this should be NY legal. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Gleam (company that runs contests) entry.

Ha.. completely regardless of this issue and totally off-topic, I'm partial to 'dipshit' myself. It's fun to say, and people are more taken aback these days if you come at them with it.
As it happens, nothing was removed after review, just the initial blatantly racist 'meme' one page 3 (so yeah, I guess you missed it) though some other posts I was asked (rightly so) to review, because we tend to check ourselves with each other to see if we're misconstruing anything, which I...
Thread re-opened
When a thread is locked, it's often for review. Moderators need to look at stuff and compare thoughts, sometimes remove posts that are not in keeping with the ethical running of the place. Some folks getting pretty silly about that, but then some folks don't understand I think...
So.. you'd rather have racist posts ? That's what he closed it for.
As far as Bookmarks, they're local to your computer/browser profile. They could vanish from deleting them, corrupted browser profiles..other things. Nothing this site can effect.
Various reasons, but that wasn't the only (or even the most common) issue with gun. The most common thing (pretty much all of them) was/is the buffer they had installed by default. They regularly cracked and got little plastic peices all up in the action that had to cleared out. It's an easy...
A bit off topic, but on that idea I wanted to drop the suggestion for a book for folks to read for people to understand this in ways that they don't even know they don't understand. It might just blow your mind. It's called Innumeracy: Mathematical Illiteracy and Its Consequences , written by...
Yep.
I have no issue with the practice, and of course I believe in testing with any different ammo you're going to carry and all that, but one can also just as logically look at it like you've then put 1000 rounds of wear and tear on parts that might have an issue, so they may be 5 rounds away...
Big problem with this though, that I've witnessed personally. It's a very good idea to do in the event of.. say you get hurt or something, or have to leave for a trime , or whaveter else, but it can turn out to be a problem when one person in that co-registration gets into legal trouble.
I knew...
I set him a password and made contact (via a backup email, since I can't do so from my NYGF email), same day as I responded above.
He just hasn't used it as far as I know.
If I'm correctly understanding your meaning, that bit doesn't bother me at all really, though there are other things that seem at least questionable. Even the article there says, "with a decent scope, a person with basic firearm proficiency can strike a target from 150 to 200 yards away, roughly...
Genuine question.. how drunk were you when you posted this ?.. Yes, no, other, man, woman ? ..What ?
Hell, I should leave poll options to answer.. would be kinda funny.
Look, another thing, and this is for a lot of people, not just the OP, I would really just like some of you folks to sit back...
@kev74 If you're in touch with him, let him know if he sends us a contact email with a different e-mail provider I can put it on his account and he'll get the emails. Currently, I can't even contact him because our emails get bounced.
I can try contacting him with a 'backup' e-mail address...
I'm only perosnally seeing this now, but clearly because it violates the rules of the forum. No mystery there. Personal attacks/insults to other member; same reason various posts were deleted from this and the thread closed it seems.
Kind of hilarious really for multiple people to be calling...
This thread was locked for cleanup.
First of all, we have, and have always had this rule.
3. No racism, hate speech, homophobic talk or otherwise defamatory posts are allowed. It isn't acceptable and it won't be tolerated. This also applies to user avatars.
Could it be worded better ? Yeah...
Spoiler, the answer is no, and this was always a silly firearm myth, but this video is still kind of interesting.
The myth is bascially that the pressure generated by the travel of something as powerful as .50 BMG could cause some kind of concussive damage, or perhaps the 'vacuum' in pressure...
I will say that the fact that the slide weight cut on the top front is very much a HEXagonal shape, does put it much nearer the top of my list then it might be otherwise. Silly reason, but still true
Lately I've been thinking about changing my carry gun out for something a little more modern (optics mostly), and this is right near the top of the list of possibilities. Well, I can't actually afford it, let alone a decent optic, but.. one day maybe..heh. I primarily carry a Sig P938 these...
Simpler than that. It's Nickel plated. That's correct that no 49 was made in stainless, but factory Nickel , yes.
What that means for this thread.. I dunno. That's for you to decide @Brawny71.
This one does want more inforation than some others, so only bother if you're ok with giving full name, phone number, email.

Nothing disreputable here. I wouldn't post something here that wasn't from a legit company on a legit platform. Using that same link you included does work for me in any case.
Anyway , link is in the original post now, sorry for the confusion.
