Which is exactly why I am so frustrated. I brought up a simple thing and everyone has to go all good ole boys club on me, get all cliquey like a bunch of teenage girls, and make fun of my suggestion. It's fine to disagree with me, but don't continue to ridicule me and make passive aggressive...
I never once said I was offended--in fact I said I enjoy inappropriate content. You keyboard warriors can make fun of me all you please (which is sad and unwelcoming). I was just trying to promote a friendly atmosphere. A curse word on the screen is a lot harder to see from afar compared to nudity.
Can we not allow inappropriate avatars or signatures? I love me some inappropriateness but avatars are everywhere, not just the bar. I know some folks are on here with their families or at work...
Just an idea. If not, I guess I'll just turn avatars off.
But their interpretation is what matters in the short term. Being pulled over, or otherwise confronted by a cop, can lead to many nights in a holding cell, some costly legal expenses, and hardship (not just financial) on your family.
Why don't you familiarize yourself with the forum layout instead of demanding links? If you don't, you won't have any clue where to go when we talk about Darth posting nakeds of himself. Welcome, anyway.
The kits or buckets are great places to start, or if you have limited space, are easy to store (stackable in the back of a closet, for instance). However, buying in bulk and/or buying individual dishes is definitely the way to go long term, depending on your requirements/needs/wants.
I wonder if we should start an "official where to buy prep food" thread so we can post deals or other sales online for people to stock up. What do you think, all?
woot.com has some #10 cans on sale today. For anyone who isn't aware, woot.com has been around for a long time as a daily deals site...
I only have experience with MH. It's decent. I tried a chili mac pouch when I first got into the stuff, because everyone says that's their favorite. It's good actually. However, they're LOADED with sodium. Don't recommend eating a lot of them if you don't need to. My plan/use for them is on...
I actually bought a .22 pellet rifle for a SHTF scenario as I plan on bugging in and staying low. Would use that for shooting small game in the woods near us, and keeping quiet since we're relatively in the "middle" of town, so blasting off powdered guns would give us away quickly. We currently...
I agree with that last line, @GOPerfect -- I'm in douchenozzleville Westchester. Much different than the CNY area I was born and raised. Priorities totally change down here. Much more dense population, less land, etc. Comparing and contrasting the different wants/needs/priorities via a practical...
I think they get it, but they just aren't able to apply the concept to other things in life. For instance, if you've ever made tomato soup from the can, you know the concept.
I think that on the surface, Cleck is correct. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they were also recording serial numbers. Then again, I don't think I recall the Dicks dude telling them on the phone what gun, specifically, I was buying. I think they just said "long gun" or something, when I...
Call me a naysayer, but in my opinion, anyone who thinks their vote matters is sadly mistaken. Again, my opinion. I am not personally attacking anyone and you're of course free to disagree.
Actually, the electors aren't obligated to cast their vote to align with the popular vote, as far as I'm aware. So yes they typically do cast their vote to align with the popular state-level vote, but they can do the opposite.

So do you really know what the electoral college is? I could very well have a very large misunderstanding of the purpose and the function of the EC, but to me it seems that the popular vote doesn't matter...
All these debates are, are a couple of grown ass men (including 'her') arguing about shit and twisting each other's words over and over like a couple of 15-year-old teenagers.
So, folks. I know this can be a highly controversial topic. With that said, my intent here is NOT to start an opinion battle, but to spark an adult discussion regarding the popular vote and what it means (or doesn't mean) to the actual presidential election.
Anyone heard of the Electoral...
Thanks for the info. I am all for spending good change on good footware but boots are something I need to get used to. I just recently took a WFH job, so my Allen Edmund collection is sitting gathering dust. Now I need to work on my boot game.
