Up until July, they were turning amendments around in two weeks. For some reason, they are now taking 4-6 weeks. Not sure if its due to staffing at Sheriff's dept or Judges on vacation, or a combination of both.
They seem to be turning them around in +/- 2 weeks.... Mine usually come a week after the check is cashed. You can save a day or two by dropping the forms off at the sheriff's office. There's a drop box conveniently located just inside the first set of doors.
The Mini-14's are a real hot item and in high demand given the current political environment. If you find a new one for $1000, grab it !!
